Cosmetic Organizer
Most women will tell you that the sheer volume of various cosmetic products we can use is
mind boggling and we need a good way to keep track of it all. Manufacturers came up with a variety of cosmetic organizers we can consider
depending on the variety and type of makeup we use and where we'd like to keep it.
You can buy a specific product designed just to keep your makeup lined up, or you can improvise with something like a utensil drawer. A lot of
women will also just use a cosmetic travel bag so everything is right there all the time and when they need to go somewhere they only have to
grab one bag. It can be inconvenient to move your makeup around to a variety of storage locations, so if you travel I recommend using a bag for
your main organizational method.
These cases can be large or small, have lids to keep dust out, or be open to the air. You can get them to hold all your makeup or specifically
just lipstick or nail polish. You can get clear acrylic holders, or get something like a bamboo drawer insert so that your makeup is hidden
during the day and not sitting on the vanity counter.
If you like the drawer concept but still want to see it sitting on your counter (out of site out of mind, better to have it out so you'll use
it), they do make clear plastic and acrylic drawer sets, either in tower form or two by six layout. This way you have everything protected from
bathroom contaminants but still available in plain site so you don't forget to put on your lipstick or blush.
Makeup bags are also very popular and come in thousands of styles. Younger girls will often use these as they aren't very big and don't hold
as much. It's a good entry level option. You can get a slightly bigger variety to use as your travel case, or use one specifically designed for
makeup travel that has built in compartments.
The bottom line is you don't want your makeup scattered all over your bathroom or bedroom. Hunting for things that small can take a while and
delay your morning routine. You also don't want thing spilling into bags or lost in the bottom of an overly large bag. You want things neatly
organized, arranged for quick use and easily found.
